Welcome to my fundraising and donations page!
As a proud board member of Greater DC Diaper Bank, I am excited to host the inaugural Hygiene Kitting Event and Diaper Drive in partnership with Prince George's County Leadership and University of Maryland Capital Medical Center. This initiative will provide thousands of hygiene kits and diapers to families who need them most—and I am proud to have The Willow Oak (MD) Chapter of The Links Incorporated as a part of this effort.
A reason I am passionate about this event GDCDB’s commitment to providing hygiene products to support the entire family. When the adult has the needed products to support their health and dignity, they then have the capacity and right spirit to focus to care for their children.
Your support makes a real difference. Every dollar helps to provide the adult hygiene, period products, and diapers the under served in the community needs.
I’m collecting dollars, diapers, and hygiene items. Items will go directly into these kits, and dollars will be used to bulk purchase additional supplies to fill the gaps. GDCDB will distribute the assembled kits through a trusted network of local partners—reaching caregivers across the region, including in Prince George’s County.
If you are donating diapers or diaper cream, they can be purchased through our Amazon Wishlist (please click here to view) or dropped off to me in advance of our October 4 event.

Adult Hygiene Kit Contents (50 kits total):
- 50 - Unisex bath/body wash. Any brand. 12 to 17oz each.
- 50 - Unisex shampoo. Any brand. 12 to 16 oz each.
- 50 - Unisex conditioner. Any brand. 12 to 16 oz each.
- 50 - Unisex deodorant. Any brand.
- 50 - Unisex bar soap. Any brand.
- 100 (2 per kit) - Unisex disposable razors. Any brand.
Period Product Kit Contents (50 kits total)
- 500 Pads - light flow. Any brand. 10 of each per kit.
- 500 Pads - regular flow. Any brand. 10 of each per kit.
- 500 Pads - heavy flow. Any brand. 10 of each per kit.
- 500 Liners. Any brand. 10 of each per kit.
- 50 Feminine wipes. Any brand. 1 pack of each per kit.
- 50 Pouches. Any brand. 1 of each (holds kit contents)

All kitting items ordered via the Amazon link above will ship to GDCDB's warehouse for consolidation and inventory in preparation for our event. GDCDB will bring all kitting items to the event for our teams to kit.
Kitting items not purchased through the Amazon link may can be dropped off to GDCDB Monday - Friday from 9:00a - 3:00p through September 15, or by special appointment by contacting volunteer@dcdiaperbank.org.
GDCDB is located at: 8860 Monard Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
All diaper products purchased via the Amazon link will be shipped to the team captain of record.
For products that are not purchased through Amazon, the event organizers kindly request that you hold all diaper, training pants/Pull-Ups and diaper cream donations until October 4, at which time you can bring them to the event (9a to 12p at the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center).
If you will not be available that day, please reach out on this page to arrange an advanced drop-off.
