Why I’m Fundraising for Greater DC Diaper Bank: Thousands of families across our region can’t afford basic hygiene items like period products, deodorant, or adult wipes. This fall, I’m supporting Greater DC Diaper Bank’s Prince George's County-Wide Kitting Event to assemble thousands of hygiene kits for families who need them most—and I’m proud to be doing so alongside [INSERT YOUR ORG NAME].
I’m collecting both dollars and hygiene items. Items will go directly into these kits, and dollars will be used to bulk purchase additional supplies to fill the gaps. GDCDB will distribute the assembled kits through a trusted network of local partners—reaching caregivers across the region, including in Prince George’s County. **Important note: If you’re donating items, they must be dropped off to me by September 15 so they can be prepared for our event.**
Your gift will:
- Help purchase and pack essential hygiene items
- Support families struggling to meet basic needs
- Provide dignity and relief to our neighbors

- Unisex bath/body wash. Any brand. 12 to 17oz each.
- Unisex shampoo. Any brand. 12 to 16 oz each.
- Unisex conditioner. Any brand. 12 to 16 oz each.
- Unisex deodorant. Any brand.
- Unisex bar soap. Any brand.
- Unisex disposable razors. Any brand.
Period Product Kit Contents
- Pads - light flow. Any brand. 10 of each per kit.
- Pads - regular flow. Any brand. 10 of each per kit.
- Pads - heavy flow. Any brand. 10 of each per kit.
- Liners. Any brand. 10 of each per kit.
- Feminine wipes. Any brand. 1 pack of each per kit.
- Pouches. Any brand. 1 of each (holds kit contents)
